As people and virtually every aspect of their lives get connected through internet, cybersecurity and data risks have grown to become one of the most serious and sensitive social, economic, personal as well as national security challenges of our time. This research memo (in Chinese only) analyzed the existing Chinese cybersecurity and data security laws and regulations (including some important draft rules) that may affect every Chinese business and summarized some 10 most important compliance issues, which we hope would be helpful to our clients and friends.
