During the past several months, Han Yi has represented General Atlantic and some buyer groups in various China investment transactions involving TMT and e-commerce sector, including, among others, Series B investment in NetEase Cloud Music and pre-IPO investments in Toutiao and Ximalaya, all of which are leading China-based media and content-driven platforms. These transactions all featured complex cross-border structuring or restructuring issues, challenging IP issues, and various special PRC operating licenses and permits, among others.
