Ex-C&F partner Liang Chen has recently moved to join Han Yi Law Offices. Dual qualified in China and the state of New York, Ms. Chen has worked for over 12 years with Commerce & Finance Law Firm, Skadden Arps and Haiwen Law and also served for about 3 years as the chief compliance officer/general counsel for a Nasdaq-listed Chinese TMT company. Ms. Chen has helped multiple PRC companies get listed on the U.S. and Hong Kong stock markets and is very experienced in PE and VC deals with a particular focus on biotech, big data, semiconductor and pet industries. She also has firsthand experience with various regulatory compliance matters including merger control reviews and FCPA-related corporate investigations. Splitting her time in Beijing and Shanghai, Ms. Chen will help grow the firm’s outbound IPO practice while in the meantime provide a strong support to the firm’s existing PE and VC client base.
