We have over 20 lawyers currently practising in our Shanghai and Beijing offices, which function as a single unit. All of our partners were trained at top tier Chinese and foreign law schools and have practiced for many years with leading PRC law firms and/or prestigious international law firms. ELLA XIA Associate

Ella Xia is an associate of Han Yi. She practices mainly in the areas of M&A, private equity, capital market, and general corporate matters. Before joining Han Yi, Ella worked with a well-known Chinese law firm and the Tokyo office of a major U.S. law firm where she was involved in several M&A projects and provided legal services to various domestic and foreign companies from real estate, gaming and casino, education, and consulting industries in connection with their M&A activities, bond issuance, and regulatory compliance matters. Ella graduated from Keio University (LL.M.) and East China University of Political Science and Law (LL.B.). She is qualified to practice in China. Ella is fluent in English and Chinese and conversational in Japanese.
